COACHING
Coach, conductor and pianist Cris Frisco helps singers of all levels prepare for auditions and performances. As both a working performer and experienced pedagogue, Cris has a unique perspective on what it takes to be a successful singing artist in today’s marketplace and how to assist singers in growing as artists and engaging with the industry in a dynamic way. He also teaches a monthly studio class, where singers can work and try new material in front of the group.
His clients have recently been seen in the Broadway productions of Waitress, Hello Dolly!, Fiddler on the Roof, School of Rock, Groundhog Day, Oslo, The Crucible, Moulin Rouge, and Dr. Zhivago; the national tours of Hamilton, 42nd Street, Cats, and Beauty and the Beast; in productions at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Vienna Staatsoper, Bayerisches Staatsoper, Komische Oper, Santa Fe Opera, Opera Theater of St. Louis, New York City Opera, the Glyndebourne Festival, and Houston Grand Opera; and for concert appearances across the world.
